New Year, New Books

New Year, New Books

Every New Year’s Day, my Lola (grandma) would hold a raffle. I write about it every year because my new tradition is to hold a book raffle for my kids and my nieces and nephews in honor of Lola. As the number of nieces and nephews grow larger, there have been years when I forget to reach out to my cousins’ kids. This year I feel organized enough to send them out on time. Sort of. The ones that live farther away may get them later in the week.

Lola is sending LIttle Lion the above Exploring Hogwarts book pictured above. The photos were taken with the copy that Little Lion gave to one of her best friends. Mini Me will be getting a few books that she had on her wish list but didn’t receive yet. (Marissa Meyers’ Supernova and Neil Gaiman’s Stardust).

Any book suggestions for my nieces and nephews? They range in age from 3 months to 11 years old, as I’m just sending to the younger cousins. Let me know in the comment section.

For previous New Year’s books, see here, here, and here.
