Dear Simon,

So far I've loved reading (and watching) your story get told. The healthy, realistic queer representation has been a huge inspiration both for my own writing, and in my life. And to get a final wrap-up and happy ending, a true close to your story and a peek into your future, was just the perfect way to spend my winter break.

Although I'm not yet old enough to read Leah on the Offbeat yet, my mom totally just forgot and let me read Love, Creekwood. Oops! Spoilers. But either way, I really enjoyed the look into other characters' lives and the whole story unraveling through nothing but emailsβ€”that's right, no normal novel writing, just emails. A little more cute content of you and Blue, a little flash forward into what college will be like, a lot of platonic and romantic support: this book gave me a lot of happiness (and a lot of gleeful giggling over the subtle flirting).

I think this book really helps define, to me, what it means to be happy. Because, while nobody's lives are perfect, you don't need to be perfect to be happy. And Love, Creekwood shows you and the others being true to yourselves, having healthy relationships, and finding your futures. And that's something truly beautiful.

Love,

Little Lion
